115 Circle Drive ~ Blue Heron Cottage

Welcome to Blue Heron Cottage! This newly constructed two-story beach cottage is located in the heart of St Simons Island, a short walk to the Redfern Village district that offers an array of shops and restaurants, and to the iconic Southern Soul BBQ. The Coast Guard Station beach access is within a 5 min drive or 10 min bike ride!

This gorgeous cottage offers front porch with rocking chairs, screened-in back porch, and pool. It is the ideal place to relax and make some memories with family or friends. When you enter the cottage, you will find a large open concept floor plan with a beautiful chef’s kitchen centered around a large island with plenty of room to prepare meals with high end appliances. Kitchen has toaster, toaster oven, coffee pot, Keurig, and blender. The dining area is located next to the kitchen and has seating for 8 guests. The kitchen island can seat an additional 3 guests. The living space has plenty of seating for guest to enjoy gathering to watch the game or movies on the huge HD Smart TV.

Retreat to the large private master suite on the main floor, featuring a king-sized bed, HD Smart TV, private bathroom with large shower, dual vanities, and walk-in closet. The master bedroom is large enough to comfortably accommodate a pack n play crib for young children. A full-size laundry room, and half bath are also conveniently located on the first floor. From the living area guests have access to screened-in back porch and a 21 ft x 14 ft pool (3.5 ft to 5.5 ft deep) surrounded by a privacy fence.

The upstairs has a second master suite complete with a king-sized bed, HD Smart TV, walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub/ shower combo. The second guestroom, which has a queen-sized bed, shares a large bathroom (with shower and dual vanities) with a third guestroom which has two custom made bunk beds with 4 twin XL beds, large walk-in closet with a 4-drawer chest, HD Smart TV and enough space for kids to hang-out.
This cottage has ample parking for 3 vehicles. The large laundry room offers guests a front load washer and dryer during their stay. The cottage does have high speed Xfinity Wi-fi available throughout the house as well as YouTube TV (instead of cable TV).

  This house was absolutely perfect for our family! We came down to St. Simons to move our son into his apartment, as he will be attending College of Coastal Georgia this fall. We wanted to be close to all of the shopping and restaurants, as well as the college in Brunswick. The layout was ideal for one married couple to have the downstairs master - I gave that one to my parents. The second master on the second floor for my husband and me. We had 3 teenagers, and the bunk room was perfect for them! The additional queen room was great for us, because one of my friends joined us and had plenty of privacy. The half bath was perfectly placed, so we didn't have to run upstairs to use the restroom. The entire residence was sparkling clean! The pool was amazing! This home has everything we needed to enjoy our weekend! The decor will make you want to go home and redecorate! I look forward to staying here again very soon!

  We had a great time visiting with extended family over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was beautiful and comfortable. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The pool would be wonderful in warmer weather. I enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen.

  We had a lovely time in SSI at the Blue Heron. House was ideal for our family and beautifully appointed. Good location in spite of airport, which was not terrible. We could ride our bikes everywhere. Would recommend.

    Cheri, Thank you so much for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding the TV streaming channels. We troubleshooted and solved the issue (it was related to the configuration of YouTube TV). We also upgraded the YouTube TV subscription to the new 4K + unlimited streaming tier. Regarding internet connectivity the cottage has a Xfinity high speed subscription (up to 800 Mbps). The guests can connect to the high speed, password protected WiFi network without any restrictions (no VPN/ private network, etc). We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you can stay with us again soon
