1519 Wood Ave - Silver Dollar Retreat

This fabulous three bedroom condo is located right in the heart of St. Simons Island on Wood Avenue, near the beach and bike paths. You will be close to shops, groceries, restaurants, the Village, and the marsh too. This is the perfect location if you are looking for a convenient rental with easy access to the beach- only about a 5 minute walk to the nearest boardwalk.

The first floor has 2 bedrooms- 1 queen and 1 set of bunk beds and 2 twins with one full shared bath. There is a grill on the patio on the side of the condo that can be accessed by the queen room.

The second level has an open concept for the common areas- there is a living room/dining room combination with a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a sleeper sofa and two comfy chairs – plenty of space for the whole group to gather around the TV. There is Wi-Fi throughout the entire condo. Also on this floor there is a half bath along with the laundry room that includes full size washer and dryer units.

The master bedroom is located on the top floor with its own private full bath, daybed, sitting area, television, and walk in closet. There is also a patio with outdoor seating so guests can soak up some rays as they watch beach goers pass by.

Limited parking: Only 2 spaces allowed per HOA

*Owner also provides a few beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, and a pack'n play for your enjoyment.

Bedding: 1 king; 1 queen; 2 twins, daybed, sleeper sofa. No pets, No smoking, No student groups.

**Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm reservations that create 1-2 night gaps.
7-night minimum rental dictated by the Home Owners Association. Can not be modified.

  This was a clean, updated rental with a short walk to the beach. The only recommendation would be to provide a fan out on patio to keep bugs away. We were not able to enjoy nice patio as the bugs ran us out. Otherwise, a nice place close to the beach!

  Georgia Coast was an excellent host,very accommodating, and friendly ppl. The house was great, well stocked with everything we needed for the beach, as well as, day to day tasks. The neighborhood was quiet, and a good spot on a dead end street for my son to learn to ride his bike before going out on the trails. We enjoyed our week there, wish it was longer as always

  We spent three weeks at Silver Dollar Retreat and it was one of our best stays on the island. Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, super comfortable, and the location could not be better. A very short walk to beach access and also located in one of the most coveted locations on the island. Georgia Coast Realty was fantastic to deal with and Sarah arranged everything for us flawlessly and with the utmost ease. GCR has been, by far, the best property management company we have used in coming to SSI for over 20 years. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend Georgia Coast Realty enough!

  Part of creating the mood is atmosphere! My Family was beyond pleased to find that our vacation rental was a Home Atmosphere with Relaxation as the theme! Each room was perfectly equipped with amenities to help ys feel at home. The spacious refrigerator allowed each person to to buy their favorite foods and have room for all! The coffee maker and Kuerig was an amazing wake up treat! The kitchen was stocked so that my husband the cook was able to create culinary delights from the fresh seafood bought at the market! The huge dinning space was a great communication area to end our day over a a meal and family time. The condo was in a perfect location to walk to nearby restaurants, the best beach outlet, and uber to Ziggys for a night of dancing! The neighborhood was safe and my teenage daughter ran each morning on the beach in a serene,beautiful beach that was safe a
  Nd well patrolled! I cannot believe the love we experienced from the locals in the area. My son is an offensive lineman for Georgia Southern University so he looks awfully burly this time of the year. But, he became an instant super star with locals sitting with him on the beach for hours discussing Good Ole Southern Football! We will definitely be back as this was our favorite rental ever and we have rented on the island since 2007! Cannot recommend the girls at First Coast enough! They were more than responsive and gave me hope that Southern Hospitality remains alive and a focus of service at Fist Coast!!! b

  This property is within 5 minute walk to East Beach public access. The unit has ample bedding for several kids with a king and queen for the adults. The unit is clean with washer/dryer plus a grill for quick meals. Also near by are some of the best restaurants on the island. We enjoyed our week at St. Simons!

  I have been traveling to SSI for 7-8 years and staying for 2-weeks at a time, 3-4 times per year. So, I've stayed in a lot of places in that time. This condo is absolutely the most beautifully decorated, perfectly located, amazing condo I've found! It sits close to everything and yet it remains relatively isolated for some quaint seclusion and tranquility. It's walking distance to one of the best beach spots on the island, and the décor is totally modern, fresh, and beautiful!! The fact that it is a 3-level condo was just icing on the cake. I would recommend the Silver Dollar Retreat 100% and I would stay here again and again!
