Wave Rest is a three bedroom, two bath traditional 1930's classic beach cottage located on East Beach. This home sits directly on the ocean side and is just a short walk over the dunes to the best beaches on St. Simons. Enjoy ocean breezes while relaxing on the large screened porch. This property offers a well equipped kitchen, large stone fireplace in the living area with comfortable sitting areas and all of the comforts of home. A perfect beach cottage for a families and friends. This rental includes monthly pest control services and all pest issues are under control. No pets, No smoking, No student groups, No parties or wedding events.

  Had a beautiful stay at the Wave Rest cottage. This cottage looks out onto open space/undeveloped nature, which is rare for the area. It is directly in front of a nature trail thru a small swamp (very unique and scenic) to the beach. The master bedroom was very comfortable, and the screened porch was wonderful for watching the colors change in the evening or listening to the birds in the morning. Georgia Coast Realty staff were welcoming, responsive, and attentive. Wish I could have stayed longer!!

  we stayed their last year and loved the location. The house is old Florida cottage with a big back porch. We spent a lot of time when not at the beach on the back porch just enjoying the weather. We love this place. Unfortunately its on the market to be sold. If I could afford it I would buy it and do a little reno on it.

  My family and I really enjoyed staying here! It was clean, cozy, and the walk to the beach turned into an adventure for my children. We really liked sitting out on the screened in porch as well.   Very Good! We have had this house for several years now and like it very much. Great location, nice porch, comfortable bed and furniture etc. My only suggestion would be to have a plumber come in for a complete review and update to the sinks, toilet flushing, and hot water heater(even though this had the elements replaced while we were there, it still gets cold before (2) people can finish showering.

  We stayed for 10 days and it was like living on the Island! We got to meet neighbors, walk to the beach, drink coffee on the porch, and we were located in a secluded enough area I was able to let the kids ride their bikes on the lanes around house. Large back yard area was good for playing big yard games with all the kids, all while being oceanfront with just the palmetto thicket barrier and dunes between us and beach:) There is a little dirt lane that heads thru the thicket to get to the most beautiful part of the beach, but it was impassible at the time due to a large amount of standing water:( But it is only 2 blocks away from beach entrance at Coast Guard Station so it was easy to get there when we wanted:) LOVED IT!
